Brief Description The Pharmacy Assistant is the first representative of the pharmacy to our patients and plays a key role in ensuring our patients have a welcoming and productive visit. This role requires providing the highest level of customer service in a warm, helpful, and empathetic manner. The Pharmacy Assistant also handles administrative, cashiering, and clerical functions to support the pharmacy team, enhance patient visit quality, and maintain accurate patient records. Responsibilities Provide excellent service, information, and support to patients and colleagues both on the phone and in person. Manage prescription transactions according to established procedures. Maintain patient database consistently. Perform rebilling processes. Input refills efficiently for patients. Maintain accurate register and cash box cash amounts. Requirements Must have obtained Pharmacy Assistant licensure with the State of Washington. Bilingual in Spanish/English or Russian/English required. Willing to travel between work sites as needed.
