Physician Assistant - Urology (Outpatient) - Philadelphia, PA

Are you an experienced Physician Assistant passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic outpatient setting? Our partner, a leading academic medical system, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join their Urology team in Philadelphia.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday role, offering a consistent schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements , allowing for a great work-life balance. You'll be based at their main Philadelphia campus, contributing to comprehensive patient care within a supportive team environment.

In this vital role, you will be instrumental in expanding patient access and enhancing care quality across various disciplines. You will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers, practicing medicine within your scope of practice and licensure.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking comprehensive medical histories.
• Conducting thorough physical examinations.
• Diagnosing and treating illnesses.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Counseling patients on preventive care strategies.
• Assisting in surgical procedures (as needed, within scope).
• Writing prescriptions in accordance with guidelines and physician collaboration.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program (Required).
• NCCPA Certification (Required).
• Active PA Medical Physician Assistant License (Required).
• BLS Certification (Required).
• 3+ years of experience in a clinical specialty environment (Preferred).
• 4+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant (Preferred).
• Previous experience in an outpatient/ambulatory setting (Preferred).
• General experience with EPIC EMR (Preferred).
