The Position: The Production Generalist Assistant is responsible for supporting the manufacturing team by ensuring the smooth operation of various production processes within the food manufacturing facility. This may include assisting with packaging production, assembling boxes, and performing various sanitation tasks. This position requires versatility, adaptability, and a keen eye for detail to maintain high-quality standards and efficiency in all aspects of production.

The Location: White River Junction, VT; onsite daily Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists production members in packaging room with box assembly, case labeling and palletizing cases.
• Pre-label product bags by and an by using labeling machine
• Repack food contact finish goods by hand into labeled plastic bags and via heated shrink wrap machine.
• Support sourdough productions through jar labeling, capping and case packing
• Assist with building sanitation including vacuuming/sweeping floors, cleaning workstations, cart surfaces, forklifts, and general dusting.

Experience and Education

• On the- job training provided on company-specific processes, equipment, and safety protocols
• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently
• Must be able to stand all shift and regularly bend, reach, and lift.
• Must be able to occasionally stoop, climb steps, climb step ladders.

• Work with multiple potential food allergens
• Below 60 degrees at times in winter on receiving floor
• This role requires standing and working in a manufacturing environment for varying periods of time, dependent on activities being performed, where noise levels vary
