Description:
RK Pharma Inc, a US based company with subsidiaries in India, is seeking a QC Chemist to complement our existing manufacturing and QA teams as we scale towards commercial manufacturing in the next upcoming months. As a company focused on the development, manufacturing and sale of high quality and affordable generic pharmaceutical products worldwide we are looking for sharp, driven, self-directed individuals to help us grow our mid-stage start-up team.
This position is in Pearl River New York at our manufacturing headquarters and is a fully onsite position.
Requirements:If this sounds interesting to you, it’s probably because up to this point you have:
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry.
• Have at least 6 months of work experience performing routine manufacturing.
• Have performed record review in support of product match releases in accordance with specifications and SOP’s.
• Have an experience and knowledge of compliance requirements and cGMP
The main responsibilities for this position are:
• Reviewing documentation associated with production operations.
• Providing adequate levels of documentation that are acceptable and compliant to existing procedures and audits.
• Auditing production batch records to ensure adherence to policies, SOP, and cGMP requirements.
• Qualifying and validating manufacturing equipment to ensure that the equipment meets the user requirements.
• Supporting QA Managements with department strategy, objectives and goal setting, along with project prioritization activities.
• Establishing processes and procedures to ensure compliance and improvement to the Quality Management System (QMS)
