R&D Coatings Chemist

 

My client is seeking a mid-level R&D Formulation Chemist specializing in Coating Products for their chemical manufacturing facility. This position involves conducting research, analysis, and experimentation to troubleshoot quality issues, enhance the performance and profitability of existing products, and assess the potential of new product concepts.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (required). A degree in a related science may be considered with sufficient laboratory experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within an industrial chemical or coatings environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as tank systems and engineering support.
• Exposure to GMP standards and quality systems is preferred.
• Strong desire to learn and engage with cross-departmental functions, including quality, engineering, and sales.
