Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring for Reach Truck Operators in South Fulton, GA. Enjoy excellent benefits and opportunity for growth with the company. These positions are Temp-to-Hire. Working Friday - Sunday 5pm -5am. Must have at least 4 years of experience with a Cherry Picker, Reach Truck EPJ , and Sit-Down forklift. Jobs will go fast, so don't wait! Forklift Operator Details: - Load picked orders or (pull & load) according to policies and procedures, completing appropriate paperwork including Bill of Lading, Pick Report, Trailer Audit and Lot Verification.
- Unload, move, stack and stage customer products and materials both by hand and using forklift or other power equipment, keeping appropriate records and reports.
- Assign / verify trailers to appropriate dock and/or yard location, trailers locked to dock-lock and/ or chocking the wheels (if applicable), following all safety rules and Company policy.
- Daily inspect and repair or make adjustments before operating tow-motor vehicles, following safety and maintenance instructions, completing the tow-motor inspection sheet at the beginning of each shift and/or assigned to another piece of equipment; report immediately any defective equipment to supervisor.
- Prepare trailers prior to loading product by inspecting and cleaning as needed to ensure product preservation.
- Assists in building and grounds maintenance to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, neat safe and orderly manner.
Forklift Operator Requirements: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Two (2) years forklift experience including specific Reach Truck experience required
- Knowledge of inventory control and general warehouse procedures
- Light data entry skills required
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
- Ability to operate forklift - both sit down and stand up, tow motor, motorized and non motorized pallet jack; clamp, reach and slip sheet.
- Ability to write legibly
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to make decisions on customer acceptance based on past experience and fitness for use
- Must have attention to detail for continuous mental and visual attention
- Data entry skills
- Language skills - English
- Must have attention to detail for continuous mental and visual attention
- Must be a Team Player
- Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
