Job Description

Our Day Care Center located at Water's Place in the Bronx is currently seeking a part time Registered Nurse to join our team! Work hours will be 75 hours per month. Schedules are Monday, Thursday , 9:00 am to 2:00 pm; Wed: 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm and 2 Saturdays per month , 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. We need an RN with at least 2 years experience working with Dementia population.

General Job Role: 

• Provide nursing care to clients including assessments, care plans, education and care management
• Documentation completed with regulatory guidelines
• Performs the functions of a registered professional nurse on their assigned unit/community to ensure resident/patient care, safety and satisfaction, in a manner consistent with organization's mission, value goals and objectives

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and NYS RN license required
• Minimum of at least 2 years experience with dementia patients. 
• Community services and/or mental health experience.
• Spanish Speaking highly preferred.
• Certified to complete UAS assessments highly desirable.
