Job description
We are looking for a fun, energetic and outgoing team member to add to our Franklin office. The position isnt all rainbows and lollipops, but we practice a work-hard, play-hard mentality and we strive to make our workplace a fun place to come to each and every day. We are family-oriented, and you will have the flexibility of working for a small business while having an incredible company like State Farm to represent. We are eager to find someone with a strong work ethic but also has a great sense of humor and enjoys working with a team. We are more concerned with your ability as a self-starter and your ability to utilize technology than we are with your resume history. You MUST enjoy talking on the phone and meeting strangers. Experience in an insurance office isnt necessary but you need to have the ability to juggle multiple tasks while being patient with our awesome customers. We have a very detailed training program that will help you understand the insurance business while teaching you to be an expert in the field.

As a State Farm agent of 34 years, I assist in developing your business leadership skills, industry and State Farm business acumen, as well as sales and marketing experience. This development and mentoring can lead you in the right direction to better prepare you for a potential career as a State Farm agent. As part of this opportunity, you will learn from an experienced agent, see what it's like to run a business and help grow an agency.

Responsibilities: Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Work with the agent to establish and meet sales goals.

Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
