This role is contract, open to remote, with the ability for full-time conversion to be in-person in NYC.

Compensation: $60-$90/hr

Job Description

• Creating high-quality, cohesive 2D animations, icons, and visual effects for the game, in Adobe After Effects.
• Creating a diverse array of animations, including characters, game assets, victory screens, and UI elements.
• Working closely with game designers, developers, and monetization teams, and implementing the creative briefs.
• Ensure that assets quality standards are met, ensure their consistency with preexisting content and predefined standards
• Participate in team discussions, providing creative and technical guidance.
• Following and understanding art/brand guidelines and technical limitations.
• Planning and delivering content that meets project goals and production timelines

Qualifications

• Fluent in English
• Over 3 years of animation experience in the gaming industry.
• High level of proficiency in After Effect and Photoshop.
• Strong graphic design background and artistic skills, with a superior eye for composition, colour theory, artistic sensitivity.
• Demonstrated proficiency in action animation, UI animation, with a portfolio showcasing a strong grasp of animation principles.
• Full mastery of the principles of animation.
• Attention to detail, meticulous and organized working habits to ensure high quality in day-to-day work
• Knowledge of mobile and web platform development
• Strong team-working skills.
• You are creative, flexible and thrive with feedback and rapid iterations, and a good team player
• Passionate about playing and making games
