We are currently looking for experienced rig welders for upcoming projects. This candidate should have extensive experience with P1, P4, P5A, P8 & P15E material. Employee will be responsible for completing routine welding assignments with a clearly defined process. Responsibilities Follows all HSE policies and procedures. Obtain daily permits and complete JSA/JHA. Knowledge of basic rigging and lifting. Read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations. Capable of using welding processes such as GTAW, SMAW, GMAW & FCAW. Capable of using plasma cutter, torch and arc gouging. Ability to identify welding defect and self QC. Experience with hand, pneumatic and power tools. Must be able to work with the team. Complete safety, production and quality control forms. Maintain and operate welding machines. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Operate heavy equipment such as manlifts, forklifts or telehandlers on occasion. Use a computer, smart phone and other office equipment such as copiers and printers. Education, Skills, And Experience High school diploma or GED. Fluent in English (Speak, Read & Write). Pass P1 and P15E tests in 6G position. Minimum 5 years of Vessel, Tube and/or Pipe Welding. Experience reading and understanding P&ID's & blueprints. Capable of reading, interpreting and executing a weld procedure. Stand for at least 90% of the day. Constant movement in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including confined spaces. Lift 100 pounds. Inspect equipment, climb stairs or ladders and maintain balance. Communicate and respond to coworkers in case of an emergency. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Work in a non climate‑controlled facility. Work in loud environments. Requirements Valid Driver’s License Clear Drug Screen, Clear Background Screen & Clear Driving Record Basic+ & TWIC (Required) OSHA 10 or 30 (Preferred) Position may require travel and employee may be required to drive their own vehicle. Must wear all required PPE, including fire‑retardant clothing, hard hat, face shields, hearing protection, safety goggles, steel‑toed boots, where applicable.
