Seasonal Retail Associate – $15.00/hr – Paid Weekly!  

Are you looking for a fun, fast-paced opportunity with weekly pay? Join our team at the  Notre Dame Bookstore to help support a high-energy football team!  

Available Shifts:  
Thursday to Saturday: Full coverage needed – shifts range from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM  

• Most shifts during football weekends will run 6–8 hours , depending on availability 
• All team members must attend  one onboarding session: 
  • Monday, August 18th 4pm-5pm

Job Overview – Seasonal Janitorial Associate 

This is a  temporary, part-time position to support the bookstore with high demand during  football game weekends . You'll assist in ensuring a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in all assigned areas. This includes routine cleaning tasks, special projections, and responding to cleaning emergencies as needed/

What You’ll Do:  

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in hallways, offices, restrooms, and other work areas
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and transport waste to designated areas
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, vents, and equipment
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance or repair needs
• Ensure safe storage and proper labeling of cleaning supplies and chemicals
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and company procedures
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and spills

Physical Requirements:  

• Comfortable moving around the store for your entire shift 
• Able to stand for long periods 
• Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation 
• Occasional reaching, bending, stooping, and use of ladders 

What You Bring:  

• Must be 18 years or older  
• Positive, energetic attitude with excellent communication skills 
• Strong customer service mindset and willingness to assist others 
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills 
• Flexible availability, especially during game weekends 
• Must be able to pass a background check
