This position is part of the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT). At FCAT, we are dedicated to using emerging technologies to create innovative products and services that improve people's financial lives. As the innovation engine for Fidelity Investments, we provide expertise on new tools and techniques to the rest of the firm, while also incubating potential new lines of business. This role will support a startup investing app within FCAT.As a member of the team, you will work with teams with a diverse set of skills across product, growth, service, and leadership organizations to devise measurement strategy and deliver insights from diverse data sets.

• As a member of this team, you will interact with business partners from across the product, marketing, service, and technology organizations to give analytical insights that will aid in the creation and optimization of business strategy.
• You will collaborate with partners to create learning agendas and measurement strategies for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of product features and marketing campaigns.
• You will provide customer behavior analytics for digital properties for mobile apps
• You empower customer experience and product development teams with data-driven and actionable insights to enable objective, informed decisions

Technical / Behavioral

• Ability to use data to tell a story of customer experience, highlighting both successes and challenges to advise future initiatives and strategies
• Ability to translate a business need or question into a hypothesis that can be validated via experimentation or data analysis
• Proficient in evaluating and analyzing the performance of campaigns/consumer websites/apps/solutions and their features with digital analytics tools (Adobe, Google), SQL/Snowflake, Python, and Firebase.
• Strong understanding of digital analytics concepts such as attribution, and A/B testing.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and structured problem-solving. Ability to draw out insights, answer the ‘so-what’ & and ‘what-if’, and propose actionable recommendations.
• Experience in creating visualization using tools like Power BI to covey insights with a powerful data story
• Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver insights from data to a broad audience in a simple, clear, and actionable way
• A cross-functional collaborator who can work across a team with diverse skills and abilities and find success for Fidelity and our customers
• Natural intellectual curiosity, initiative, and love for learning new skills and capabilities

• 8+ years of experience generating analytical insights to drive business actions, including experience with a range of analytical tools and strong SQL experience
• Expert in data visualization and reporting of key business KPIs and performance trends using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit
• Experience with digital analytics and digital engagement tracking using tools such as Adobe Analytics
• Background with customer profiling, segmentation, and propensity modeling to better understand emerging customer populations
• Experience with digital customer journey & customer funnel -- analyzing customer data across digital processes to identify friction points and opportunities
• Experience with test & learn measurement and experiment design for digital experiences
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a field such Economics, Statistics, Finance, or STEM fields. MBA or MS degree preferred.
