Reports to: Vice President, Software Development

Purpose:

The Senior Project Manager leads the Specialty Pharmacy team's project portfolio. This role drives project success through effective project management and leadership, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and manages relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads and manages the Specialty Pharmacy project portfolio, ensuring timely completion and meeting project goals and objectives.
  • Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manages project scope and identify potential risks and issues, working with the project team to mitigate them.
  • Communicates project status, risks, and issues to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including pharmacy operations, IT, finance, and clinical teams to ensure project success.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provides project management guidance and support to project managers within the team.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve project management processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or technology related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams to achieve project success.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certification or equivalent
Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. When in-office this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and communications via MS Teams.
