Tatum by Randstad is presently conducting a search for a Senior Tax Accountant for a well-established, rapidly growing, fast-paced Investment Firm based in Irvine. The role will have opportunity to grow into a Tax Manager role and will report to the Director, Tax

responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities in this role will include:
- Work with external tax accountants to review and file federal, state, and other returns
- Liaise with Director of Tax and external Fund Administrator to perform tax withholding analysis on distributions
- Review taxable income estimates and review tax distribution calculations
- Ensure compliance with other tax regulatory regimes
- Receive, assess, and process federal and state tax regulatory notices
- Work with Fund and external tax accountants to report annual 1099s and 1042s
- Review projection and annual Schedule K-1s/tax returns with Director of Tax for reporting accuracy before disseminating and filing
- Developing and maintaining tax plans, compliance procedures and risk assessment frameworks, to ensure effective tax management.
- Managing and overseeing the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax and other direct or indirect taxes.
- Collaborating with Director of Tax to ensure tax strategies and policies are implemented accurately
- Identifying, tracking and reporting any potential financial risks or issues and working closely with Director of Tax and the accounting teams to implement appropriate solutions
- Maintain recordkeeping and documentation of tax filings in accordance with tax policy
qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 5 + years of relative experience, be well-versed with different operating systems, be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
