Job Title: Software Developer

Location: San Jose, CA 95110 (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months

Contract Type: W2 only

Pay Rate: $80.98/Hour

Duties:

• Demonstrate and apply a deep understanding of software engineering practices, quality standards, and testing procedures, deployment and operations.
• Ensure all code meets high standards, is observable, and is thoroughly unit tested, contributing to a culture of excellence in engineering.
• Work with highly-available data streams, RESTful APIs, and various interfaces to deliver production ready code.
• Follow Agile methodologies using industry leading CI/CD practices
• Demonstrate and apply knowledge of software engineering practices, metrics, quality and testing procedures, process creation, and enablement.
• Write unit & integration tests, Debug and Optimize code for scalable workloads
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for work including design decisions, deployments, APIs and enablement.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages (preferably Go, Python), cloud and web technologies.
• Expertise in RESTful web services and design principals.
• Strong verbal, written communication skills and desire to work in a team.
• Hands-on experience with APM and monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic, Cortex, Prometheus).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Typescript/Javascript, Component Building & Organizing, and Separation of Concerns.
• Strong programming skills with extensive experience in Java or Scala
• 4+ years with Java demonstrating strong skills in Enterprise Java and frameworks like Spring/Spring MVC/Spring Boot.
• Experience in setting up SLAs/SLOs/SLIs for key services and establishing the monitoring around them

Education:

• BE or Diploma in Animation
