Substitute Teachers/Paras - Parkway Schools

Parkway Schools Now Hiring Substitute Teachers and Substitute Teacher Assistants.

We are hiring substitute teachers and substitute paraprofessional and clerical in Parkway School District. No previous experience is required!

Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher. Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.

Minimum Requirements:

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• 36 college credit hours or high school diploma and completion of substitute training course
• Kelly offers the substitute Pathways Substitute Training course for candidates without the 36 college credit hours Missouri Substitute Certification Process

Substitute Pay Rates:

• Teacher, $120/daily rate,
• Paraprofessional, $15.00 per hour
• Clerical: $15 per hour

Responsibilities and Job Description(s):

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lesson plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
