*Hours*: 40 hours per week

*Job Summary*

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech to join a dynamic team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will be adept in various surgical procedures, including orthopedic and neurology cases, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. This role requires adaptability, skill versatility, and a commitment to patient safety and care quality.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist in surgeries, ensuring sterile field maintenance and instrumentation readiness.
* Prepare and handle surgical equipment, including general, laparoscopic, robotic, orthopedic, and neurology tools.
* Support surgeons and nursing staff in delivering efficient, safe surgical care.
* Adhere to call and weekend rotation schedules, including potential 12-hour shifts on weekends.
* Participate in trauma cases and contribute within a level 1 trauma center.
* Engage in perioperative call rotations as required by the facility.

*Qualifications*
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
* BLS Certification and Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) verification.
* Expertise in orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures.
* Travel experience preferred.
* Level 1 trauma center experience highly preferred.

*Requirements*
* *Certification*: Must have one of the following:
* Graduated from a nationally accredited surgical technology program with an active NBSTSA or NCCT certification.
* Completion of a military surgical technology program.
* Employed as a surgical technician before July 1, 2013.
* *Call and Weekend Commitment*: Required to take call shifts and weekend rotations as per facility policy.
* *Skill Range*: Proficient in general, laparoscopy, robotic, orthopedic, and neuro cases.
* Ability to handle trauma and a high daily case volume in an academic setting.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,350.00 per week
