TEMP to HIRE Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Third Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM ET) 100% REMOTE

Location: Smyrna, GA 30082
(4 weeks onsite training- Mon- Fri 8:30AM-5:30PM)
Fully Remote thereafter (Monday-Friday 3:00PM-12:00AM)

Our client in the healthcare field is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) to join their growing team on the third shift. This role begins with 4 weeks of onsite training in Smyrna, GA (Monday- Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM), after which the position transitions to a fully remote schedule, (Monday-Friday 3:00PM-12:00AM)

The CMA will support the clinical services team by enrolling patients into Care Management programs, reviewing and documenting patient information in EHRs, contacting referrals, and providing guidance on the benefits of care management services.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with potential and enrolled patients to provide a superior experience over the phone.
  • Engage potential patients to understand barriers to medication adherence.
  • Explain features and benefits of Care Management services to encourage patient enrollment.
  • Complete daily referral and enrollment processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the Clinical team with physician, pharmacy, or case manager outreach, including obtaining necessary patient information.
  • Assist with re-engaging patients who are difficult to reach.
  • Support patient follow-up for clinical outcomes, including blood pressure, blood sugars, diet, and other relevant metrics.
  • Organize and prioritize daily workload to meet company goals and priorities.
  • Document patient interactions clearly, completely, and accurately in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Assist onboarding teams with enrolling patients in Medication Management programs.
  • Support health plan initiatives such as SUPD, HEDIS, or other programs related to MA licensure.
  • Complete daily tasks of printing, sorting, and mailing letters to patients to meet departmental Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinical services operations.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma, Medical Assistant training or schooling, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
  • Experience in a hospital or physician's office preferred.
  • Managed Care or Population Health experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
