Job Description

Position: Textile Print Designer Location: Hollywood - Hybrid onsite/remote Full Time

MUST HAVE KIDSWEAR EXPERIENCE

Job Description Responsibilities:

Create fun, unique, trend-setting artwork in a variety of styles while upholding the aesthetic
Stay informed of trends in illustration and kidswear
Present color and concept research to the Senior Design Manager and support seasonal print planning
Translate seasonal trends and product insights into innovative print concepts
Prepare and maintain accurate mill sheets for vendors
Support the team with design asset management
Attend product meetings, reviewing print strike-offs and making adjustments as needed to ensure highest quality
Collaborate with a team of designers, product developers, and merchants to deliver products that meet business goals and delight our customers

What you'll bring to the team:

Bachelor's degree in Design/Illustration related studies
Textile/Surface Design a plus
5+ years experience creating children's textiles and/or illustration
Skilled and experienced in hand-drawn and painted illustration
Deep understanding of color theory and highly developed taste level
Strong technical and organizational skills
Detailed oriented
Excellent time management
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure of tight deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback 24 Seven Talent
