STS Aviation Services is hiring Training Instructors in Melbourne, Florida. Nature of Work The Training Instructor plays a key role in implementing, overseeing, and continuously improving STS Aviation Services’ Quality and Safety Management Systems. This position is responsible for developing and delivering both technical and non-technical training courses. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, driven, and passionate about aerospace, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. General Responsibilities Establish, maintain, and monitor Key Process Indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality objectives and strategic goals are achieved Assist in customer audits and source inspections as needed Ensure documentation of process improvements is completed and approved Continuously evaluate systems and procedures for efficiency while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards Develop, implement, and document classroom and distance training curriculum, including: Aircraft familiarization and ATA-specific courses Company policies and procedures Workplace safety Human Factors training Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Quality and Compliance Educational Background & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance, modification, and/or manufacturing Experience in FAA Part 145 Repair Stations preferred Prior teaching, training, or instructional experience required FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred General Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to travel occasionally in support of training programs Excellent prioritization, planning, and organizational skills with a proven track record of producing results Strong written and oral communication skills Effective interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships across departments Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Professional demeanor with the ability to diffuse confrontational situations About STS Aviation Services STS Aviation Services is the global MRO arm of STS Aviation Group.
