ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Grand Island, Nebraska.

\nRN - CICU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Holiday coverage as needed
\n• Floating requirements mainly to PCU but may float to all areas based on abilities
\n• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% or contract termination
\n• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:2 with occasional 1:1 for high acuity patients
\n• Care for patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics with conditions including sepsis, STEMI, stroke, neurosurgery, renal failure, respiratory failure, COPD, cancer, and DKA
\n• Required to titrate drips including sedation, paralytics, pressors, antihypertensives, heparin, and insulin
\n• Work with specialized equipment including Gaymar Hypothermia, Arrow Balloon Pump, Camino Neuro monitoring, CRRT, Impella, EVDs, and Lumbar drains
\n• Must read and interpret telemetry strips
\n• Work in fast-paced environment with eICU remote monitoring system
\n• Participate in bedside shift report and intentional hourly rounding
\n• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
\n• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Driver's license required at submittal
\n• Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
