\nRN - ICU Neuro
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in a fast-paced Neuro ICU at a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma facility
\n• Every other weekend required and holidays per policy
\n• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
\n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
\n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
\n• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
\n• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary
\n• Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV infusions and blood products
\n• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge procedures
\n• Make referrals for patient care needs and delegate tasks to support staff
\n• 1 year of nursing experience required
\n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
\n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
\n• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
\n• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required
\n• ACLS certification from American Heart Association required
\n• Strong communication skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients
