\n\nICU RN Job Details\n

• Location: Roanoke, VA 24014 (Virginia healthcare jobs)\n
• Facility: Crystal Spring Tower – 8 ICU CSTower (Surgical/Medical/Cardiovascular ICU)\n
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract\n
• Start Date: October 6, 2025\n
• End Date: January 5, 2026\n
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 – 07:15)\n
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800 - $1840\n
• Patient Population: Adult patients (18+)\n
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 2:1\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU RN experience required\n
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system\n
• Level I trauma ICU experience preferred; Level II ICU experience considered for large healthcare facilities\n
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
• Ability to work at least 1 holiday during assignment (2 holidays during winter season)\n

\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult patients in a fast-paced ICU setting\n
• Perform advanced therapies and treatments: cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, mechanical ventilation, pacemaker management, and intracranial pressure monitoring\n
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
• Maintain NIH Stroke Scale certification and participate in stroke center protocols\n
• Deliver care for post-vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, and stroke patients\n
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the critical care process\n
