Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care - $2,160 per week at Prime Staffing summary:

This role is for a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Long Term Care at a skilled nursing facility in Wisconsin. The nurse will provide comprehensive care including medication administration, wound care, and patient education for adult and geriatric patients over a 13-week travel assignment. Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing team in Wisconsin. The RN will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with multiple medical conditions in a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a long-term care or rehab setting.
• Administer medications, including insulin and IV therapies.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and manage wound vacs and drains.
• Monitor vital signs, glucose levels, and overall patient condition.
• Provide colostomy and Foley catheter care.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health management and recovery.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Wisconsin or Compact).
• Minimum 1 year of LTC or Skilled Nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with PointClickCare charting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and wound care skills.
