Job Description & RequirementsJob Title: Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Chemotherapy
Shift / Schedule:
Day Shift
\t5x8-hour shifts
\tHours: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
\tExperience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology RN experience
\tTravel nursing experience required
\tCertifications Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
\tChemotherapy Certification (ONS / ONCC Advanced)
\tCharting System:
Epic EMR experience required
\tPatient Population / Diagnoses:
Care for patients with all cancer diagnoses
\tIncludes malignant and non-malignant hematologic conditions
\tUnit Details / Responsibilities:
Administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy in an outpatient setting
\tPatient assessment, education, and symptom management
\tAdherence to oncology safety standards and protocols
\tImportant Location Restriction:
Facility does not contract travelers residing in the following Texas counties :
\t Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
