American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking an RN to join our corrections medical team in Haynesville, Virginia. This is a men's medium security state prison.

\n Correctional RN Job Details: \n

• Pay Rate: $2,096 to $2,296 per week

• Schedule: 7 - 7
\n
• Available Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week
\n
• Start Date: Two weeks from offer
\n
• Located In: Haynesville, Virginia
\n
• Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid RN license and be willing to obtain VA and/or compact licensure.

As a Registered Nurse in a correctional care setting, you’ll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, promoting their well-being and rehabilitation. This position works in partnership with a team of correctional staff and allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing patient health status, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions as needed
\n
• Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
\n
• Monitoring patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary
\n
• Collaborating with healthcare team members, correctional staff, and community resources to ensure continuity of care
\n
• Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
