M.E.M Valet operates in the valet parking and hospitality industry, focusing on providing high-quality vehicle parking and retrieval services while ensuring excellent customer service.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Parking Attendant to join our team at M.E.M Valet in the Memphis Midtown and Downtown area. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of providing outstanding hospitality services.

Roles :

MEM has two roles, which included being a valet attendant at 4 restaurant locations where you will receive a portion of each the total of each car that is parked at the end of the night which will be paid at the end of each shift plus tips. The second role includes working at one of three hotels in the downtown area where you are paid by the hour plus tips. Feel free to ask more questions during the interview to pick which role may fit you best.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.
• Accurately write vehicle information on parking tickets, noting any visible damage.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to company protocols.
• Lift and carry luggage for guests at hotels and shuttle services.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support team operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in guest services or hospitality roles.
• Strong driving skills with a valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers.
• Familiarity with valet parking operations is PREFERRED.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to be flexible and willing to be a team player.
• Arrive ON TIME, in full uniform, and ready to work. Follow all company rules and policies.
• Clock in/out for shifts, and report tips accurately.
• NO more than 3 moving violations within 3 years on your motor vehicle record (MVR)
