Our small clinic family is looking for an ambitious and self-motivated employee who is a team player for a one-veterinarian, small yet busy veterinary practice. We have a full-time vet asst/tech position available. Duties include taking care of patients and boarding pets; feeding, watering, walking and cleaning kennels and outside yard. Holding animals during examinations, getting paperwork, vaccines and medications ready as instructed, assisting with x-rays, surgery, treatments, stocking supplies, and will need to be able to lift about 50#. Keeping the clinic, exam rooms, treatment rooms etc. clean and disinfected. Filling prescriptions and communicating well with clients to answer their questions and go over instructions with them as needed. We all have our certain areas of expertise yet we all help each other with all positions since we are a small clinic. Experience is necessary. Pay will depend on level of expertise.
