Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to manage and support infrastructure systems including Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and storage systems.
• This individual will provide advanced-level support (L3/L4), collaborate across engineering and IT teams, and contribute to the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the corporate IT environment.
• The role is 100% onsite and will support both Engineering Groups and corporate systems.

Responsibilities:

Daily Operations

• Provide day-to-day IT support to Engineering Groups.
• Deliver L3/L4 support by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and system issues.
• Coordinate repair and recovery from system failures and engage with impacted teams as needed.

Systems Administration & Infrastructure Support

• Administer and maintain Windows systems, VMs, storage systems, and core IT infrastructure.
• Configure, install, and rebuild servers, hardware, and services across Engineering Labs.
• Perform ongoing system monitoring, log reviews, virus protection compliance, and performance reporting.
• Apply regular OS patches, upgrades, and administrative tool updates; configure new services as required.
• Develop and maintain Golden Image processes for Windows environments.

Process Development & Optimization

• Maintain and document operational/configuration procedures.
• Contribute to system standards and build processes for legacy hardware support.
• Recommend and implement automated and scalable system administration practices.
• Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization (CPU, memory, storage).

Cross-Functional Communication

• Interface with Engineering, IT, and third-party vendors for project and support coordination.
• Collaborate with multiple functional groups to deliver IT-related solutions for engineering operations.

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience on Networking, Windows, Hypervisor and File storage systems
• Experience in network switches deployments, network patching and TCP/IP
• installing new and rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals and services
• Install and configure systems infrastructures in Engineering Labs
• Experience of supporting engineering users for day to day support in large corporate environment
• Knowledge on Virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix and Citrix Xen Server
• Knowledge on AD, DFS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Networking, VPN, imaging Technologies like Acronis
• Take direction from the team lead and work within a team-environment to achieve organizational goals
• Should have excellent problem-solving capability

• VPN, Imaging tools (e.g., Acronis)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
