Zumbrota-Mazeppa Schools Substitute Teacher/Para

Zumbrota, MN, US

Education: High School or equivalent

Position: Part Time, Temporary

Salary: Teacher: $165/day; Paraeducator: $17.56/hr

Shift: First Shift (Day)

Job Type: On-site

Minimum requirements:

• Substitute Teacher Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Substitute Teaching License OR Tier 3 or 4 Teaching License
• If you are not yet licensed, but hold a Bachelor's degree in any subject, you are eligible to apply for licensure! Let us know and we can help connect you with the MDE.
• Substitute Paraeducator High School Diploma or GED
• Note: some of our partner districts require paraeducators to be highly qualified. We will let you know if this is the case for your selected district. To be considered highly qualified, you must either have completed 60+ college credits/Associate's degree OR pass the ParaPro Assessment. We are happy to help direct you on how to complete the ParaPro Assessment, if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lesson plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
