Qualifications:  

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Previous experience working with children or individuals with behavioral needs preferred
• Previous experience working in schools preferred

Role Overview:
A School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), focusing on improving behavior and teaching skills for students with special needs. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

• Dates:  ASAP- 6/5/2026
• Hours: 7am- 3:30pm
• Setting: High School and Transition Building
• In-person only

Key Responsibilities:   

• Work under a BCBA's supervision to carry out behavior intervention plans and therapy programs designed for students with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of student behavior, skill development, and responses to interventions.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to help students learn new skills and improve social, communication, and other functional behaviors.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to discuss progress, coordinate activities, and advocate for student needs.
• Implement strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and promote positive behaviors.
