Job Description

At Unwell, our mission is to create engaging, relevant, and innovative audio that speaks to our community. We’re seeking a Creative Producer who is passionate about shaping compelling audio content and has a keen understanding of Gen Z interests and trends. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality audio programming from concept to final cut, ensuring that each episode resonates with our audience and maintains our brand’s unique voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Collaborate with hosts and creators to brainstorm, script, and structure podcast episodes that align with our brand and appeal to our audience.
  • Production Management: Oversee all aspects of production including recording, editing, and mixing, with a team to support. Ensure that episodes meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
  • Audience Engagement: Analyze listener feedback and analytics to continuously improve content and format. Stay updated on trends and preferences within our demographic.
  • Guest Coordination: Book and manage guests, including scheduling interviews and preparing them for recording sessions.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with the creative team, marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and successful podcast promotion.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in podcast production, with a portfolio of relevant work. Experience with Gen Z-focused content is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficient in audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools). Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Creativity: Ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to keep content fresh and engaging.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and manage multiple projects.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in and understanding of Gen Z culture, trends, and media consumption habits.
