One of the country's largest credit banks is searching for a PowerPoint Graphic Designer for an initial 12-month, on-site contract role in Manhattan . This is a high-visibility, production-driven design position supporting internal business teams with high-stakes presentation materials. The ideal candidate is both a creative thinker and a PowerPoint expert—comfortable translating complex briefs into polished, brand-aligned visuals under tight deadlines.

This isn’t your typical marketing or social media design job. You’ll work across multiple internal brands, supporting senior stakeholders with content-heavy decks, data visualizations, and visual storytelling. Most of the output is executed in PowerPoint and Excel , so advanced proficiency in those tools is essential. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud—especially Photoshop and Illustrator —is also required. Initial W2 Contract Duration: 12 Months (May 2025 – May 2026)

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced PowerPoint skills , including mastery of templates, charts, shapes, slide design, and macros
• Proficiency in Excel for data visualization and chart creation
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Illustrator required; InDesign a plus)
• Ability to interpret and design from detailed creative briefs
• Experience working in fast-paced, corporate environments with production-level design volume
• Strong communication, time management, and listening skills
• Understanding of brand standards, templates, and consistency in visual storytelling
• Bachelor's degree (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting live pitch or deal teams , preferably in finance, consulting, or professional services
• Background in working with multiple internal brands or high-touch internal clients
• Familiarity with regulatory considerations or legal review in corporate design
• Leadership or mentoring experience in previous design or presentation teams

Responsibilities

• Design and edit corporate-branded PowerPoint materials, including pitch decks, Excel charts, tables, maps, infographics, diagrams, and illustrations
• Offer conceptual design solutions to elevate slide content and visual clarity
• Execute creative redesigns of existing content with minimal direction, ensuring consistency with brand standards
• Interpret KPIs and business data to create compelling visuals and layouts
• Partner closely with internal teams to meet tight deadlines with accuracy and polish
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and share best practices with team members
• Adapt to a fast-paced, structured work environment that requires flexibility and focus
