Job Title: MRO Inventory Controller

Location: Near West Allis, WI

Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Operations

Compensation: Approximately $85,000 - $90,000 annually (based on experience)

We are supporting a well-established and growing manufacturer near West Allis, WI in their search for a detail-oriented and hands-on MRO Inventory Controller. This is a critical role that supports maintenance operations by managing parts inventory and vendor relationships across multiple facilities.

This position is ideal for someone who has worked in MRO, supply chain, purchasing, or industrial maintenance environments. It may also be a great fit for Maintenance Managers, Parts Coordinators, or Technicians looking to move into a support or planning role.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain inventory for spare parts in support of maintenance operations
• Establish and manage supplier and vendor relationships
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems using a CMMS (mobile-capable platforms like MaintainX)
• Collaborate with maintenance and purchasing teams to ensure timely ordering for both stock and machine-down scenarios
• Monitor critical-path items and proactively manage stock levels
• Handle hands-on inventory control (this is not just a desk job)

What We're Looking For

• Background in MRO, maintenance support, supply chain, or purchasing within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Familiarity with CMMS and/or ERP systems (MaintainX and Epicor are a plus)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors
• Valid driver’s license
• Six Sigma, Lean, or continuous improvement experience is a plus
