The Citadel Outlets is currently hiring for the following Security Officer positions to ensure a safe and positive shopping experience. On-Call Security Officers will enjoy a flexible schedule that may include daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts. All qualified candidates must have a valid CA Guard Card.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20 Per Hour, depending on experience.

This position may accommodate various scheduling needs based on availability to those who are able to perform the following Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Protects the property both on foot and by vehicle, being visible and observant at all times.
• Maintains the security cellular phone and professionally responds to all calls for service within the Center.
• Ensures the safety, comfort and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude.
• Ensures critical areas of the property are being monitored.
• Maintains complete knowledge of all security operations, policies and procedures.
• Documents security activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough.
• Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in implementing the center's Security work plan, assigned work activities, projects and programs.
• Performs all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
• Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in training new security personnel.
• Complies with all Corporate and Security policies and procedures that pertain to the Center.
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with store managers and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees and the general public.
• Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
• Must have a valid CA State Guard Card.
