WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Join our dynamic team as a Ride Operator, where you'll be the guardian of guest safety and enjoyment. With a focus on providing a thrilling yet secure experience, you'll entertain guests, ensure all safety measures are in place, and enforce ride restrictions diligently. Your role extends beyond operation to maintaining cleanliness and responding to emergencies with swift professionalism. HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
Keep Guests Safe and Happy: Make sure everyone stays safe and enjoys their ride.
Entertain and Comfort Guests: Help guests relax and have fun as they get on our awesome rides.
Operate Rides Smoothly: Press buttons and flip switches to start and guide the rides.
Ensure Safety Measures: Check seatbelts, secure loose items, and lock lap bars to keep everyone safe.
Enforce Rules Fairly: Make sure everyone meets the rules and height requirements for the rides.
Assist Guests Efficiently: Help guests get on and off the rides quickly and safely.
Keep Things Clean: Keep the ride areas clean and looking nice for everyone.
Handle Emergencies: Be ready to respond quickly and appropriately if there's an emergency on a ride.
Work Fast and Listen Well: Keep up with the pace of the rides and follow instructions from managers.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Must be 16 years or older
In rides you must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift
Excellent communication skills, including reading, writing and speaking
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Must pass ride certification tests with 100% accuracy
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Friendly, outgoing personality inviting guests to your boarding station
Positive attitude to make guests excited about their ride
Must react well in stressful and emergency situations
OTHER NOTES:
May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole.
Reports to Rides Area Supervisor
