Join Our Team as a Staff Pharmacist

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications. This role offers a variety of schedule options to fit your lifestyle, along with pay incentives for those seeking additional income.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and verify required formulas and ingredients
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians on preparation, packaging, and labeling procedures
• Maintain compliance with all quality assurance protocols, controlled substance security measures, and hazardous waste disposal regulations
• Accurately enter and manage patient and prescription data
• Verify medication identity, purity, and strength through appropriate testing procedures
• Educate interns and other healthcare staff on pharmacy practices
• Provide support and oversight to various shifts as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Kentucky Pharmacist License (additional state licenses a plus)
