Description POSITION SUMMARY
To safeguard the table bankroll and cards in play and to provide card games to players at tables using chips and an authorized card.
Hiring for full time shifts will include Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays. Wednesday through Sunday, 7pm to 2am.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Inspect cards used in games to ensure that they are in good condition.
•Protect table bankroll and cards in play.
•Exchange paper currency for playing chips.
•Notify Pit Boss when changing large bills.
•Verify and fills/credits at a table.
•Check to ensure that all players have placed bets before play begins.
•Deal the appropriate number of cards to each player and the house.
•Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game.
•Apply rule variations to card games such as poker.
•Open and close game tables with Lead Pit and/or Pit Boss.
•Refer patrons to gaming cashiers to collect winnings.
•Comply with gaming regulations, internal control systems and compact agreement.
•Follow Casino and department policies and procedures, including all safety and service procedures; adhere to the Prairie's Edge Chain of Command.
•Support the Vision and Mission Statement's of Prairie's Edge Casino Resort.
•All other duties as assigned.

Newly increased starting wages for every position! Requirements SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: None
Certifications &Licenses: Must pass State and Federal Background check and a pre-employment drug screening. Key Cash handling Gaming License.
Other Requirements: Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
