Residential Elevator Mechanic – Installation Specialist
Location: Houston, TX (Travel Required)
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a skilled Residential Elevator Mechanic with proven installation experience to join our growing team. If you’re motivated, reliable, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full installation of residential elevator systems
Operate and manage power tools and installation equipment safely
Read and follow technical drawings and site plans
Climb ladders and tall structures as needed
Lift and move substantial weight as part of the install process
Maintain a clean and professional work environment on site
Follow safety protocols and industry best practices at all times
Requirements:
Prior experience installing residential elevators is required
Physically capable of lifting heavy components and working at height
Strong knowledge of power tools and on-site safety
Familiarity with PPE requirements and general industry standards
Professional demeanor and solid communication skills
Ability to work independently or lead a team when needed
Must have reliable transportation
Must provide proof of experience and knowledge
Must provide at least two professional references
Having your own tools is a bonus , but not a requirement at this time
Additional Information:
The job consists of traveling throughout the Houston area
Occasional travel to other parts of Texas and surrounding states is required
